The Cat Named Dog June 17, 2007

Welcome to the Wide World of Kiinu.

The name was given to me when I was about 11. and it’s stuck. It’s not going anywhere. It’s two japanese words mushed together to make a name. Ki and Inu. Ki mean energy. And Inu means, you guessed it, dog. I don’t even really remember the reasoning behind this name and I’m almost embarrassed to say what it means sometimes. But it’s my nickname and it’s stuck to me very well.

I don’t like the conventional shortenings of my name. But I also don’t ALWAYS want to have people close to me have to say my whole name. So I made on up. Kate and Katie just don’t fit me. XD KateFruit does, but that’s another story.

I’m a senior in highschool. I’m going to be graduating in June. Hopefully I’ll be accepted to some college or another, you never know. I get to graduate wearing black and it makes me happy. I collect cat ears. I go to anime conventions and I sing.

I have a small group of the most insane nerdy friends evAR. I’m familiar with ALOT of internet lingo and jokes. I can type and read 1337. I’ve figured out the placement of charaters in The Elven language from LOTR. I read those books when I was in 5th grade.

I don’t like to type with indents. I don’t like to write with indents… I just skip a line and start a new paragraph. I find it easier to read that way. My handwriting is miniscule. capital Letters take up half a line on college ruled paper.

I listen to EVERYTHING. I can’t name bands in every genre. I can’t even name a song from every genre. Mostly because I can’t even tell the genres apart anymore. what is emo and how is it different from rock? I honestly just thought emo was emotive. ALL music expresses and emotion… 60% of it depressing XD. It’s ALL emo music now!

I have a big family I have a diverse family. We don’t all live under one roof. and we don’t all live in the same town. And we have fights and I try really hard to be a normal teenager and hate my parents but i just can’t. Another strike against me on the normal catagory.

I have more friends online than I do in life. I’m not bothered by it. So they don’t know what I smell like? Big Deal. The best friend I’ve ever had in my whole life I’ve known since I was 14 and he’s turning 20 this March. Him turning 20 is a bigger jolt to my senses that It’s time for me to ‘grow up’ than myself turning 18 or graduating. go figure.
