Why Me? August 14, 2008

I work in a deli.
I have a uniform. It declares that I must wear black or tan pants with a white collared shirt. I like this.. that means I only needed to buy shirts when I got my job. And because they were white I need to wear a black tanktop under them. Because white bras didn’t make sense to own before. I never wore white and they’d show through my really thin old black (grey) shirts. So I just assumed wear a black tanktop underneath.

It is warm out.
I walk to work. It’s not a bad walk. it’s shaded for a good portion of it. it’s flat land mostly. But it IS summer. therefore wearing two shirts is a liiittle warm. So I tend to walk in my tanktop and my work pants.

This is how it looks.

I think it’s decent. I’m covered. It’s modest… it’s something I wear for wooork. I’m not prancing about in a little black cocktail dress and heels or applebottom jeans.

I walk on a main road.
To get there I have to go past the rotary in my town. It’s a pretty busy road. There are alot of cars. there’s a highway offramp there and all. I walk on the sidewalk and lots of cars pass me.. sometimes people I know are driving by and they offer me a ride. That’s always nice.

Some fools in their cars think it is FUNNY.
To drive past me and scream out their windows. or to honk at me and make lewd hand gestures.
It doesn’t happen everyday.. its happening less now that people are headed back to schools. so I’m going to assume it was mostly college kids or something. But why? WHYYY? do you need to drive past someone and screeeam out your window. I can’t understand what you’re saying, you’re driving too fast.

And you scare the bejeebus out of me when you honk at me. I can hear that through my headphones. and its alarming to suddenly hear HONKHONK!! in the middle of something that should be my soothing music. It’s even scarey when I hear it through my loud growly music.

This leaves me wondering. Why me? What did I do to you? I’m not dressed to be catcalled. I’m not shaking my butt down the road. I’m just attempting to not dehydrate.. again XD

Scabbers August 13, 2008

Scabbers and I are hitting our six month anniversary in two days. I makes me really excitamid!

Soo… I’ve decided to humor the world on the storee of our meeting.. since he’s snoring next to me and all (he was up at 6am so I don’t blame him for being asleep now. XD)

I met him in January. Remember when I made that post about everyone being horribly sick? Yes then. haha. Everyone was getting sick and I’m a big baby and didn’t want to.. REALLY didn’t want to.. I wanted nothing more than to be out of the house full of puking people.

I got a friend to come get me from my moms house that night. As it happened, she was headed to what she said was a party but really only turned out to be four people. I knew mom prooobably wouldn’t ever approve… but I often did things my parents wouldn’t approve of with this friend. I don’t mean illegal or anthing.. just going out and stuff.. ^_^

Well the ‘party’ was being held at her friends house.. Scabbers house.. My first impression of him was him standing on his lawn waving his arms wildly. And my friend yelling “Of course I couldn’t see you! you’re in black!”

The party was pretty fun.. we stayed up and played cards (and they drank.. I was still nervous that I was sick and not giving my stomach any ammo) All night. Around 5am Scabbers said he had to get to work at 1 and therefore needed to be up and out of his house at noon. Were we going home or not? Welll… we didn’t. I slept on one couch and my friend slept on the other.. Scabbers in his room in his bed.

We got up and left the next morning.. and I didn’t see him again until The superbowl weekend. he was at my friends party. My friend actually babysits for my little sisters friend.. so yeah.. I brought the little one with me. And scabbers was there! I was shy and all such things. XDD

When we went home I looked him up on myspace and I talked to him alot while Stinker was sick. We ended up having a LOTR movie marathon after I took my ACTs We really only watched like.. 45minutes of one of the movies and then went to a kareoke bar. (I know he looks like a bad influence.. but he really isn’t. He’s more of a good one. I don’t do half of the horrible things some teens do. These are honestly the sneakiest and most adventurous things I’ve ever done)

He drove me home (He didn’t drink at all because of this) We were a little late on getting me home on time.. just a little. Bobbert called.. I reassured him that we were on our way. And as we pulled up outside my house I was a little sad that the fun was over. I hugged him goodbye.. realized how freaking awesome he smelled. Went to hug him again because I’m a total olfactory junkie I love smells.. and somehow ended up kissing him. 0.0;

I’m sure I said something absurd and totally not appropriate for after kissing someone, accidentally or not. stumbled out of the car.. tripped on my way up to the steps and turned the color of a tomato.

I’m sure I left a fantastic impression.. for he seems to love me anyway XD

Right now I mean… it feels like I’m on the top of some giant full cup or something.. Just kinda waiting for those laws of physics or whatever they are to break and for everything to come crashing toward the future.

I’m exposing Scabbers to my Bobberts side of the family this Sunday.. Bobbert likes him so I’m not too worried… but with all my mothers giant issues and all.. I’mma come to the shindig in his car seperate from Bobbert so if it gets all weird we can bail after an hour or two.. XD

ANIME BOSTON 2008!

This my friends is the second biggest Gathering of Anime Fans on the East Coast. A bnch of insanely hyper, sugar loving, costume wearing 10-30year old people (and that one lady with the hats.)Come together for a weekend in Boston and take over the Hynes Convention center/Sheraton/Prudential Mall/ Comply place hotel/ alot of the surrounding area.

You will see many crazies wearing strange getups (yes strange even for Boston) And you’ll hear more people screaming and galavanting in the late late hours of the night. All the 24hour feeding places will remember why they’re open at 4am.

The conservative people who don’t know of this comming will feel confused. Though hopefully not threatened. For we are a friendly bunch and will answer any and all questions (no matter how rude) with a huge freaking smile because we are SO HAPPY to be together again for another weekend of constant sugarhighs shared by over 9,000 people. (not a lie… check the site)

There will be a ballroom full of amature (and not so amature) artists selling their wares. There will be a gigantor ballroomand a half filed with online shops come to life. There will be 24/3 showings of anime. There will be 24/3 game room time.

And there will be raves. Oh yes the raves. Two of the Sheratons Ballrooms filled to fire hazard capacitey with people jumping and screaming and dancing. Dj’s blaring mixes scattered with anime theme songs. And people selling glowsticks.

Yes all of this insanity is an anime convention. A Convention full of people going crazy over cartoons. Damn straight. It’s the best weekend you’ll ever have. ^_^ I’ll be there in my weirdest clothes though probably looking the most normal

School vacation and I guess I kinda went on Mind vacation too.. XDD

Hrm… in the last… week… I’ve managed to.. not do much…

I finished my auntie banner… later than I thought I would… we didn’t have the resizing software I thought we did since my tall brother fried the other computer… I forgot about that until I needed it ^^ oops… But now I know where tofind it and stuff.. hehe..

I mailed a friend a gift that I bought them for Christmas… not the one that just passed but the Christmas BEFORE that.. o.o;; Yeah I’m good..

I got a prezzie from red!! And it’s very pretty! I’ll have to take a picture and put it up here after ^__^ I like it muchly so and thank you to her for it. And it fits! Which… rarely happens… most bracelets fall off my hand XD so yay on that account also!

I got a boyfriendy thing who I wasn’t friends with first… and it seems to be holding up better than the other.. Cody and I still get along vereh well… cause well… we’re friends XD Apparently nothing more but that’s all cooleh.

I waited to mention this… waited for the Bobbert and the mom to meet him… waited to see if it was just not going to work.. Just being cautious… I love how I proclaim myself mostly always single then… yeah… irony I tell you.. I had pretty much no crushes or anything all through middleschool and almost all of highschool… and now this insanity… not complaining… just amused… it’s totally ruining my streed cred., yo.. or not.. XD

ALSO.. Got my ACT scores online last night… My overall composite score is a 22… er.. in SAT language that’s somewhere around a 1030 I think… if I remember right.. ^_^ I scored kinda average on all the broken down subscores… so I’m going to assume that the 22 is pretty much the average.

and if it’s not… don’t tell me.. XDDD

AND I’m making Beef stew today… hopefully it’ll be done before I go out… otherwise mummy has to take over… and I can’t make him taste it… It should be done… I’m going out tonight… doesn’t that sound funny comming from me? Going out tonight… Gahahha… Kaeroke and Pool in worcester… mreow.. lots of people at places like that… but.. I dunno… maybe they’re all nuts… who knows… crazy people make me happy XD

i decided I didn’t like the restristions of the width on the other theme… and that I ended up not sticking to that title I gave it.

So it’s changed. and I’ve put up and About Me (the Cat Name Dog) And an artsy Fartsy page. It has my sketches on it. I thought about a webpage one… but I don’t want to do that. So I’ve solved a few things I was working on with this site. Because I coudn’t figure out why i didn’t ever see my about me section… and I wanted some permanent pages. So now i have them! huzzah!

Now to just use this for evil… perhaps starting a small internet buisness and shamellesyly promoting it on here… who knows! I’d do sketches on commission.. XDD infact I do… but I do them for ridiculous things. Like “teach me math so i don’t fail my ACTs!” “Does that mean you’ll finish my drawing?” “o.o;; YES! now HELP ME!”

Also… this funkeh theme seems to fit me a bit better than that bluey darkish one. I’m much more hyper than that.. ^.^

School Snow Nicknames and MOAR December 8, 2007

So… I finished* my DPHS site. I worked most of the kinks out (unless you’re looking at it on an uber laptop screen). And my DC teacher left me a message on the courseware asking if I’d like to make designs for all the other schools in the district. :: dances :: I feel so cool! XDD

*By finished I obviously mean it has all the pages but two of them have nothing on them because freewebs won’t let me. ^.^

It SNOWEEEDDDD not on my birthday… but the day afteer! that’s good enough for me! I had a small birthday party with friends and family at my mothers house yesterday. it was fun… we made sketti and sauce.. and had cake and ice cream.. and my friends actually hauled themselves out to my moms town in the snow for meee XD.

The boy had to leave early though because his little sibling had to go to bed by nine. Ah well. And now i have said little siblings socks in my backpack to give the boy next time i see him… cause the little one left them in Connors room. XD Go little kids haha.

Also… I guess my name is kinda strange eh? Welps. I got my nickname when I was in 6th grade and it’s followed me through school and a move to a new town. :: grins :: even the boy calls me it half the time. Alrighty. In 6th grade I had a friend named Rin. Well… I can’t remember her regular name now. I called her Rin. And I was WAYYY in to anime. Like REALLY. I’m nowhere near as bad now. Anywahhhy. She decided I should have a japanese nickname one day. At the time I was madly obsessed with Inuyasha. So I wanted the word Inu in my name. Inu means dog. And since I was always pretty short amongst my friends then. So she put Ki in the front of it. Telling me it meant cute. gahaha… not.

But ya know… 12 year olds and other languages aren’t always reliable. It really Means Energy. My nickname is really a strange mixture of the two words Ki and Inu. KiInu.. but nobody who reads it can ever pronounce it as two words for some reason. and over the years it’s just become Kiinu. And nost people just pronounce it Kee-noo now… heck even I do. but back then it started at Key-In-Oo.. threee syllables XD

It’s mutated into Kiinu over the years and I’m alright ith that XD So now you all know. KiinuNoBaka really just means Stupid Kiinu or… Kiinu has lots of Stupid. directly… XD

Annd… moar? hmm.. I have a pet bunny and Rat now… we’re just adding to our strange mixture of animals… the house is becomming noahs ark almost… Just gotta convince mom to let me have a bat… BUAHAHAHAHA it’ll never happen
