College? April 1, 2008

Posting from school again.. surprise surprise :P

So.. Anybody got any thoughts on college? I’m definatly leaning towards not going. Now. Before you bite my head off. I’m choosing this because I’m starting to see that me going to college is lookign more and more like it will be a colossal waste of time AND money.

I know… I moved in with the craziest woman alive just to have financial aide for college. But, it’s getting closer and closer and people keep asking me what I’m going to do and I’ve filled out a few applications. And the hardest thing about these applications. Is the questions like ‘pick your major’ and then the little essay-ish spot where you tell WHY you chose this major.

I have no real passion or desire to go to school.. It’s just one of those things I’ve always assumed I HAD to do.

Do I really?

I’m beginning to believe I don’t.

I think maybe, I have just enough talent and just enough luck to make it without having to sit in classrooms full of people for four more years of my life.

I also think I wanna spend a summer singing on a cruies boat or something… Wouldn’t that be fun? I think so.

I can keep a regular lame-o job and keep up funds. Get my butt to all the nearby conventions and flea markets and sell sketches. Some already made and just framed. And some on commission. I’ll draw people.

Want me to draw you? I’ll do it free for now over the net. As long as you let me use your picture as a reference and a model display thingy at my cons. ^_^

A Design and a Gift March 17, 2008

Well.. Amognst all the crazy things I want to do before I’m old enough to have a mid-life crisis about not having done them. I want to make my own line of semi-formal dress designs.

I know… not something you expect from someone who dresses like a bum all the time. :)

I think i have a certain flair for it… But even if I’m never famous or anything I wanna make a few and sell them at flea markets or something. It’d be a cool thing to do I think :) Mebbe an internet shop someday. When I take the time to learn to make patterns myself XD

As for the gift.. My mom asked me to make a simple sketchy for one of her friends who just started her own massage therapy buisness called a Touch of Time. She wanted me to color it with the companies colors. But. She wanted the sketch for tomorrow and she told me about it… a few hours ago…

And the sketch idea that came up just doesn’t match a red and gold coloring. I didn’t realize those were the colors until AFTER I drew it because mom couldn’t find the business card. XD

So it’s just a simple sketch. But she’s gonna frame it and make it look all lovely I guess before she gives her friend it as a gift.

A Warm Fuzzy Feeling March 16, 2008

you see… I’m 18.. I’m thinking about colleges… I have a liscense… I’m ridiculously giddy about an upcomming event.. I’m going to my Senior Dinner Dance.. I even have a date to it. I’m socializing quite well with people I’m just meeting. I’ve actually made new friends without the help of anybody else in one of my classes. I’m not failing anything. I even have a boyfriend to complete the totally normal picture.

Though the thing that tops it all off, this normal thing.

My mom doesn’t like my boyfriend. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Is it bad that I find this to be a comforting thought? Maybe not COMFORTING… but like.. a small little thread to keep me from being totally odd.. Because really. I’m pretty far from normal. even when I dress the part XD

Though I like him for other reasons of course… that one is sticking out right now. Point of tension in recent days kind of thing.

I’ll probably post an update or two before the Con. but from Thursday to Sunday next week. I’ll be off in the land of awesome!

Kiinu vs. RMV March 2, 2008

So I’ve tried to get my liscense twice now. And twice now, I’ve failed.

The first time, I was taught to parallel park incorrectly. My drivers ed class used a very small car for road lessons and they only went over it once and they way they used worked quite nicely for that little car. Not so good with a truck. Oops.

The second time I parallel parked just fine, I drove just fine, and at the very last second I was pulling into the parking space at the end and my foot slipped. off. the. break…. The car lurched forward a foot-ish.. barely at all, the cop got twitchy, he MISSED the parking break and I, Me. stopped the car with fast enough reflexes that we only went a FOOT forward. and I didn’t hit anything. But he called it a near-collision (there was a car infront of me you see) and failed me.

Well, this is really an inconveniance to us, we have no cars with middle parking breaks (well.. we have one.. but i’m only allowed to use it early in the morning when I’d have to skip the only classes I NEED to graduate) So my mum has to borrow a friends car, which isn’t so bad cept we don’t all FIT in her friends car, and borrow really means trade so her friend still HAS a car.

BUT! this past Friday. Scabbers offered up his car for me to use. So mom sent a note into school, I got dismissed after my important classes, Scabbers relinquised his keys to me and we drove to worcester to get his side mirror replaced so they wouldn’t deny me on account of his car, then drove to the RMV in Southbridge to let me drive up and about on all the roads around the RMV

I got a different cop this time, I parked, I nearly got run over by some ninny comming up behind me too fast while I was changing lanes and the cop yelled and reached for my wheel, but I turned the car away before he touched it.

Strangely, this time. the cop didn’t think my demonstration of my quick reflexes was a bad thing. He said I was a good driver and that he was comfortable enough to talk to my sponser while I was taking my test and that he apologised for creating a distraction and passed me! w00t!

I am now liscenced to… cause mayhem and run-amok… or something like that.

My mum rewarded me by letting me have Scabbers and one of my other crazy friends over for dinner. And I’m now eternally grateful for Scabbers and his small car… it made everything really easy… being all small and easy to turn and stuff.. XD

Specially since he usually doesn’t let anyone drive his car. Silly boys and their cars.

My first… outing…date? February 27, 2008

I made it 18 years without one… how magical. XD

Mkay… so as I was babbling about the other day. I went out to Worcester with my boyfriendy boy, I think… I’ll just call him Scabbers on here… Yes… like the rat in Harry Potter? Sounds good.

Pool and Kareoke in Worcester at a place called Londons. There’s alchohol served there so I had to have some form of I.D. for my 18ness to get in I guess… Nobody drank but still..

I sang… yup… infront of people that I could see.. :: shudder :: It wasn’t too bad though… He sang a buncha times… crazy boy. (He’s also jumped out of an airplane, you see? crazy.)

Right as he was going up to sing the first time one of the crazy people there (I pretty much loved everyone I met XD) Changed a gold coin into a quarter, While it was in my hand! It was so cool!

Welps. I had to be home for Midnight (He already made the Cinderella jokes) So we left at 11 15 and headed back.

we got home on time, Yay! XD
Everyone was still up and being silly (It was Saturday) So mom let Scabbers stay and hang out and play games with us until 2am. Haha. Very fun playing Apples To Apples with my mom brother Nicki and Scabbers… we make BAD jokes.

So… my first time doing this outing thing… very fun and very memorable. I’m deffinatly willing to try it again hahaha… and I don’t think he’ll mind toooo much. XD

Stinker. February 8, 2008

The littlest one in my family is a unique one. Definitely unique..

You know that superbug? the freakish kill you off stomach bug everyone and their aunty seems to be getting? Went through my house! ew!

Stinker though… He’s ALREADY got issues… the other just kinda puked and were better.. I ah… was a paranoid emotional freakish mess for a week :) (I hate puking, you can do it… but if it’s caused by a virus I could catch, staytheHELLawayfromme!)

He started the puking in the middle of the night Thursday. I dun freak when he pukes.. cause he’s… him. He couldn’t keep anything (including water) down, and was tooottally gone otherwise… Sleeping and puking for two days… You’d try to talk to him and his eyes would just roll back in his head, the house was very quiet… it was VERY weird.

Sunday he crawled into my moms room all happy and perky “HAI!”
We went for Cracker Barrel for breakfast. he ate half an egg and half a piece of toast, and drank some soda. Then descided he didn’t want anything else.
We spent most of the day in the shops and stuff… All of us got new sneakers… a new boardgame (Rummikub) and a puzzle. He kept complaining that he was tired and sick of walking, We just assumed it was the fact that he’d been so busy fighting the virus that he was gonna be east to tire out for a day or two. that’s okay.

The little Girl and I went to a friends house for a superbowl party… really just an excuse to eat chips and soda… XD
My friend babysits her friend all the time… so it works out ^^

Got home and found nobody home but the other sister.. She said Mom and the boys were in the ER, Stinker puked up the breakfast he ate 8 hours ago, looking just like when he ate it. A bit worrisome.

The ER gave him IV Fluids to keep him hydrated, he went to his doctor on Monday, the doctor said to call his GI doctor,

Went to the ER again Monday night for the same treatment. Where he puked up grass-green bile (yum) Got very sick of ‘band-aiding’ him everynight and Headed to the hospital his GI is at on Tuesday. got him BACK on IV Fluids there. Gave him Zofram (I think) to keep his stomach calm, and umped him full of Easy-Cat. (Via G-tube, cause he wasn’t drinking it XD)

He got his catscan to make sure there wasn’t something really wrong, figured out, this whole mess, was caused by

LYMPH NODES. those silly annoying things that swell under your jaw when you’ve got a particularly stubborn cold? they’re sore and tender and make swallowing hell? I learned that you’ve got a LOT of them in your belly too. And his were all swollen and angry. So that’s why it hurt him so much to eat and digest and all such things.

the hospital decided to keep him utnil tonight, On the IV Fluids and all to keep him hydrated and hopfully so that they would calm down enough for him to drink water and eat melty stuff. He can… he’s home. He can’t really EAT… but he’s pretty alright.

We’ll know in 3 to 5 days if they’re calming down at all…

but he’s home now and all is good..

I think everyone is mostly healthy.. I think I totally screwed my metabolism up over the weekend/week. and it’s taking some coaxing to make it work again but that’s okay it’ll be back.

Sunday Night June 18, 2007

Welps. when School ended last Tuesday for Kiinu. All the children were immediately put together in one town. To “Jump right into the summer schedule.” Which Is logical, if the family in question is going to be keeping with this schedule.

So Kiinu was taken to her mothers house on Tuesday because it coincided with the way the summer was supposed to work. Tuesday to Saturday at Moms. and Saturday to Tuesday at dads. Saturday morning comes. and Kiinu finds out (because nobody in her house remembers to tell her anything) that after going to their fathers Saturday Night after the Kids Dance Recital. they would stay with him until Monday (not on the oh-so-important-to-use-immediately-schedule) and after that Monday. All of the Kids will be staying at their mothers in her town for the following Three Weeks.

This is not part of the schedule. And Kiinu couldn’t have been left with her father for the end of the week that she was at her mothers doing nothing but getting in the way as her siblings were still in school for that week.

Alrighty.

Hello Everyone who may or may not visit me ^.^

There isn’t much to this. but It’s a topic for me to stay on while rambling. My Family. They’re… unique to say the least.

This will stay nice and anonymous. mostly so my siblings and parents don’t… kill me

Let’s start with a personality overview and general setting of life as of the current date.

So. I, Kiinu live with my father and his wife in our town. I go to school here and have friends here and all that jazz.

The other four. Smidger, Andrew, Mary, and Connor live with my mother in Another town. About 30 minutes from me. Seeing as my father commutes an hour to his workplace and mom 45 minutes to her’s everyday. This isn’t far away.

So My mother and father have no problem driving us back and forth and keeping Joint-custody VERY true to the meaning. As.. ideal a family life that is. it’s not really all that fun for the children involved if you catch my drift.

and quite a bit gets lost in translation.
